"Where Are They Now?" Blaque
As a teenager, I loved girl groups. Blaque was one of those groups. Discovered by 1/3 of the hit female group TLC; Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes put together a group of 3 teenage girls, && they called themselves Blaque. They hit the music scene in 1999 with their hit single "808" and took the world by storm as the "Modern day TLC" Their album titled "Blaque" went on to sell over 1.5million records and 2 million world wide with hits like "I, Do" and "Bring it all to me" feat: N'Sync. In 2000, the group starred in the movie "Bring It On" with Kirsten Dunst and Gabrielle Union and also had records on the soundtrack. After Lopes' death in 2002, they seemed to have disappeared until they came together in 2004 for the soundtrack for the movie "Honey" . This is the most recent record released from the group as a whole. Lead singer Brandi Williams has released some solo tracks which have received good reviews from the public but I want to know, are they really over? I loved them as a group especially that album. Is one album really what we get from them or are they trying to find a deal? I really need to know WHERE THE HELL ARE THEY NOW?!?!?
Check their video "I'm Good"from the "Honey" soundtrack below.
